Apply For Grant Projects
Apply For Grant Funding
Each year, the Bay Area UASI opens the Webgrants portal for eligible applicants to submit project proposals for grant funding.
Each applicant submits projects to be implemented within five main categories: Planning, Organization, Equipment, Training, or Exercise. A risk-based formula is used to determine funding allocations across the San Francisco Bay Area urban risk area into four different “Hubs.” Hubs prioritize submitted projects against their allocated funding and determine which projects are selected for funding. Once projects have been selected for funding, the Bay Area UASI applies for the grant through the State of California’s Office of Emergency Management. Upon receiving a grant award letter, MOUs are released to subrecipients awarded funding.
